The signs of yesterday do indeed take us on a nostalgic journey. Who doesn't remember the road trips along Route 66 and reading all the wonderful signs that featured Uncle Sam, Babe Ruth, and the Union Pacific Railroad? And don't forget the colorful, art deco neon signs that advertised gas stations, restaurants and motels. Vintage signs may be things of the past, but their images still adorn the lives of sign lovers from coast to coast -- in the form of collectible posters and art prints.
